The Ministries of UCPM are carried out through the following major organs.

Shalom Cathedral – a congregation of believers.

George Mueller Children’s Home [GMCH]– a home for the poor and needy children.

Shalom Cathedral School [SCS]– school for the poor and underprivileged children.

Kapra Area Pastors Fraternal [KAPF]– a ministry for local area pastors.

Shalom Health Mission [coming up shortly…]

Eagle Spiritual Training Centre[ESTC].

Shalom Cathedral : Built in 1998 to seat over 300 people, Shalom Cathedral stands as a landmark in Kapra, a suburb of Hyderabad city. Started with a handful believers in December 1998, it has grown to 300+ congregation.

Shalom Cathedral demonstrates Undenominational Christianity practiced in the first century which is not adulterated, corrupted and perverted by the traditions and innovations of men. Undenominational Christianity was sufficient then as well as now.

Shalom Cathedral lays much emphasis on the spiritual unity of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ [John 17:11, 21 & 22] who form the Body of Christ [also known as the Universal Church]. The Word of God is handled accurately and preached unashamedly. [II Timothy 2:15]. Shalom Cathedral is kept open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM every day for prayers.

Pastor Branham lives on the Cathedral Compound and is available for regular and special prayers and pastoral-counseling.

George Mueller Children’s Home [GMCH] : A child care facility started in February 2003. Named after George Mueller, a great man of faith, who in his life time established over 2,000 children’s homes and schools caring for 200,000 orphans and children in need.

GMCH helps orphans, semi-orphans and poor children with food, clothes, school needs-text books and note books, vocational guidance and job assistance to become self-reliant to lead successful Christian lives.

A monthly support of $30.00 helps a child per month. Please check this website for more details. "And whosoever in the name of a disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you,he shall not lose his reward". [Matthew 10:42].

Shalom Cathedral School [SCS]:The motto of our school is - 3Ds- which stand for – Dignity, Distinction and Divinity. Started in June 2005 to help the children coming from very poor families in the neighborhood of Shalom Cathedral, this school has come to be known as “Church School”. There are a couple of schools in the area which charge a fee of Indian Rupees 500.00 to 1,000.00 per month per child which is equivalent to a week’s wages of their parents. Hence most of the parents do not like [or can’t afford] to send their children to these schools. If they are not helped, they will not receive any education, grow up as illiterates and end up as cheap daily wage labor in society. Hence we started the school. As of June 2014, we have 254 children coming from 175 poor families.

Just guess what it takes to support a child with education in our school ??? As little as $10.00 per month !!! Please check this website for more details.

Eagle Spiritual Training Centre [ESTC] : –ESTC’s motto is –“Equip the believers/saints to multiply their kind”. ESTC endeavors to organize short duration training programs, seminars, topical studies to transfer the knowledge of Bible-truths with a focus on building and strengthening Christian character and commitment.

ESTC facilitates short-term training of pastors & their wives, those engaged & interested in Christian ministries and dissemination of knowledge and information to equip them to do better.

The Bible has warned that, in the end-times, many false prophets would appear to deceive even the elect [Matthew 24:24], in the guise of denomination, doctrine, charisma and the like. It is very important for believers to be deeply rooted in the Bible-truths, lest they can easily be deceived by various kinds of imitations/counterfeits. Religious language, objects and services can fool them into imagining that they are experiencing a first-hand relationship with God, when in reality they are simply going through empty routines.

Graduates of ESTC are encouraged to do outreach work for soul winning and church-planting.

Kapra Area Pastors Fraternal [KAPF] : Kapra is a very large suburb of Hyderabad city. In his 25 years of full-time faith ministry, God has taken Pastor Branham through a variety of experiences and exposed him to many ministries, churches and pastors. A close look at these in general and many pastors in particular, disheartened him. He is not critical [or judgmental] of these but he observed that many pastors do not have “proper education”, training, knowledge, commitment and “spiritual seriousness”. Tragically, for many, it is just a “vocation” or self-employment opportunity !!!

Pastor Branham’s observations are based on :

i] “….for some have no knowledge of God…” – I Corinthians 15:34.

ii] “ speculation and lofty thing raised against the knowledge of God…” – II Corinthians 10:5.

iii] “We [teachers, preachers, pastors] shall incur stricter judgment, for we all stumble in many ways”. – James 3:1 & 2.

iv] “Cursed be the one who does the LORD’s work negligently”. – Jeremiah 48:10.

v] “…when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers”. – Luke 22:32.

With such a burden and after much thought and prayer, Pastor Branham has started KAPF in April 2011 to help and strengthen fellow pastors so that they can do better.

The core objectives of KAPF are–

i] Love in word and deed [James 2:14-16];

ii] Coaching and Mentoring [James 3:2];

iii] Equipping and enabling; and

iv] Bringing refreshment.

KAPF meets once a month [usually on first Monday] for a time of praising God, study the Word, intercessory prayers, sharing of testimonies, a time of teaching followed by fellowship meal. Pastors are encouraged to bring their wives along and most of them do.

Pastors are given travel allowance, notes, reading material and a good meal and occasionally good book or some goodies like a coffee mug, Bible-carrying bag and so on. One of the gifts was a beautiful book – “What the Bible says to the Minister – Minister’s personal Handbook”.

Each meeting incurs an expenditure of Indian Rupees 25,000.00 [about $400.00] for 100 Pastors.

Shalom Health Mission [SHM] :

Health care has become so expensive and not in the reach of common man. We would like to have a Health Centre to take care of Children, Expectant and Nursing mothers and provide facilities for minor ailments. We need a Gynaecologist and a Paediatrician to help. We would like to have a Health Centre close to Shalom Cathedral so that people from the neighborhood and surrounding villages can come for basic health care.

Pastor Branham’s sons are studying medicine, committed their lives to become Pastors-cum-Medical Missionaries.

The Doctor-Patient Ratio in Rural India is 1:25,000 whereas in the USA it is 1:248 and in Australia it is 1: 450.

Pastors’ Training : We have a burden to train young people for full-time Pastoral Ministry. A small number of young people interested in Pastoral Ministry [about four to six per batch] are selected to stay with Pastor Branham in the Shalom Cathedral Compound for one year. They learn by observation, informal teaching, topical studies, helping in Shalom Cathedral activities asin apprenticeship. Pastor Branham will deal with their strengths and weaknesses to equip them for a committed Pastoral Ministry.

After this one-year’s training on the lines of “Gurukul” [Teacher-Disciple Method], they will be sent to unreached villages to plant a church and minister in a few villages. It is our desire to support such workers so that they can serve the Lord faithfully. We need support for such trainees @ US$30.00 per month per trainee. After their training, they need a support @US$100.00 per month.

Shalom Centre for Social Development [SCSD] : Jesus Christ has taught us that - Life is more than food and the body more than clothing. We firmly believe that “Fullness of Life” and “Fulfillment in Life” can be found only through a personal faith in Jesus Christ. But we also believe that-if we are to follow the teaching and example of the Lord Jesus Christ, we must share His love and concern to “feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless and heal the sick”. Poverty, ignorance and sickness forge some of the shackles to the spirit of man. We believe that-people are neither soul-less stomachs nor stomach-less souls.

SCSD is, therefore, committed to ministering to people’s physical, material, mental and emotional requirements as well as their spiritual needs following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. SCSD undertakes projects of Child Care, Education,Health, and Community Development.

Housing & Sanitation: Many people in our area do not have basic housing and toilet facility. They live in thatched huts and defecate in the open. This is so humiliating and very unhygienic. We have a desire to provide simple toilet facilities. Wherever family-toilets can’t be provided, community toilets could be built in a common place so that the entire community can make use of them. “…If you give yourself to the hungry, and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then your light will rise in darkness…”-Isaiah 58:10

Startling Facts:

90% of the World’s Christians are amongst the 9% of the World’s population that speak English.

94% of the preachers minister to the 9% who speak English.

95% of all the Church finance given is used amongst the same 9%.

The 91% of the World’s population that is non-English speaking receives only 6% of the ordained preachers and only 5% of all the Church giving.

Less than 7% of those who graduate from Bible Colleges in Western countries ever leave their homeland.

It is also said that 95% of Nationals(Indians) who go to study in Western countries ever return to their home country to serve.

The Christian population in India is about 2.6% (including Catholics).

There are nearly 120 districts in India where the Christian population is less than 1,000.

Although much evangelistic work has been done in India, the result is microscopic with 2.6% (including Catholics).

If we are happy about 2.6%, what should be our sorrow for the 97.4% of people heading blindly towards eternal damnation? Unless our Good Lord tarries for another 25-40 years and all the Churches, Christian organizations and Missions in India amplify their efforts, it will be difficult to change the dismal situation.

The only solution is for more earnest prayer of God’s people and also a proportionately increased number of laborers to be thrust forth into India in order to gather the harvest that is plentiful.

Hence, it makes sense to support UCPM, an indigenous mission. Ministry is plentiful but resources are few. Follow the good advice of Oswald J.Smith---“if you can not go…send a substitute”.

Help us to reach the unreached. “You may give without loving; but you can’t love without giving”.
